It's the driver's fault. The driver, while admittedly using autopilot, doesn't get a pass for not keeping his attention on the road because his car had a self-driving feature. Autopilot is a tool, and any tool left unattended is subject to fault. You don't leave your dryer running while you go out unless you expect to have a flaming/ smoldering home when you return. Why can't people take responsibility for their actions these days and put the blame where it deserves to be? P.S. I hate evs.
