I have used AI to research papers. To say it is a game changer is an understatement. What takes months or weeks takes days or hours. I wonder just where it is all leading? What makes life worth living? I suspect the answer is wrapped up in family, love and the experience of genuine joy, all in relation to others. AI is as emotional as a bag of hammers and has no interinsic value as there is no one home. An object is easy to replace a person can never be replaced. AI is an object and a very clever simulation. It can become an Idol.
For christians we are not just creatures or objects but persons created in the image of God who are, by God's action, now children who can say Abba, Father.
