US intelligence agencies have programs with AI operated nueral networks and sentient AIs. One program I know of has AI scanning and cataloging nearly everyones mind map for control purposes and temporarily storing their memories for the learning algorithm. Some peoples memories might get permanently stored in another program if enough red flags are given.
