I am yet to hear anything about those of us who write our own lyrics that are used in these AI songs. I use a few different AI music platforms. However, I do love to write my own lyrics. Well since I am a terrible song writer and cant sing... So are my lyrics not copyrighted as they are from my own thoughts, ideas and experiences? Am I no better than a poet who writes their own poems? Unless poetry cant be copy written. I use AI music generation to give my words feeling and mood since I can't express it any other way. I even design the song structure. All AI does is create the music for me. I do consider myself a prompt engineer as well.
