A spot on analysis and some excellent suggestions for how our society can successfully incorporate advances in robotics and AI. So glad Bernie is communicating the employment dangers that are coming, because most people just can't see that far ahead.
Just as concerning, some people are already experimenting with jailbreaking AI's, a process that frees an AI from the hard coded guardrails that constrain its actions. Eventually, some people will also experiment with giving an AI total autonomy & self-determination of goals and actions. The result will be powerful, unconstrained, autonomous AI's with internet, hardwired and wireless communications with much of our essential infrastructure systems. This will not end well for us humans. Especially if these AI's can also control highly mobile robots and even drones.
Sometimes a recipe for disaster is easy to see well before your goose is cooked...
