Comment
As someone with a back injury leading to long term disability and anti AI, I see the appeal. I see that getting that immediate gratification of art is a nice dopamine hit. I also know that people love hitting artists with "gotchas" for some reason. But what I love about my art and others is the love, details, and even the mistakes at the end when you look at a peice. AI feels uncanny to my artist eyes, and I'd rather be in pain bent over my desk and draw something I love than give into dopamine seeking behaviours that also involve stealing from my fellow artists. Art is an outlet for my pain and a way for me to design characters I love and cherish, to do that with AI would just feel loveless to me.
