In the U.S, over a hundred people die every single day from car accidents that are overwhelmingly preventable and due to humans. Funny how nobody talks about that. We're letting perfection get in the way of progress by "being concerned with" and blocking the progress of autonomous driving systems. I don't know about everyone else, but I've driven many hundreds of thousands of miles in my life and would trust a computer to be more logical, unemotional, safer, uninebriated, and a better driver than most human drivers I see on the road today.
