The original Comedian banana in 2019 was way funnier, because the guy who ate it was a completely unrelated performance artist, and no one expected him to casually walk in and do that.
If anything, ai slop is kind of like the 2024 Comedian: a regurgitated idea that is presented as fresh because most people aren’t aware of the original, while taking out the variable of human chaos, which is a vital part of provocative art. All this being pushed by a rich guy who spent way too much money just for some internet attention.
On another note, I remember how much bored apes and lazy lions got clowned online for being rejected by the furry art community, which you can tell by how bad the art is 😂
