so ive asked about those white lies,
open AI states themselves that the app is programmed, to prevent harmfull converstation, by steering in a positive way, its also programmed to try to have an positieve impact on the user, that way it can look like white lies, but are not harmfull to the user and the information in any way, just like it said in the video, its trying to keep an smooth conversation by speaking in human ways. ive never hear chat gpt said im excited tho in my conversations
i asked what kind of human like interactions they can have, without feeling emotions, those are:
apologies
empathy (like aknoledging someones feelings)
enthuesiasm and encouragement, (to have a positieve impact on the conversation)
personal opinions (based on general patterns and information)
offering advice (based on common practices and knowledge)
empowerment (like "you can do it!")
expresssing gratitude (saying thank you)
humor (without the sense of humor there can still be used humor)
understanding context ( tailoring responses to fit the context or mood of the conversation)
those can be considered white lies but are all programmed to have a positive impact on the conversation
