Here’s the facts that nobody has mentioned. If everything is created for humans by AI or robotics machines, then how do we buy anything if we don’t work? Just look at the internet. Banks spent millions of dollars to create internet banking but they saved millions in firing tellers, closing banks stores to no longer requiring new stores to be built. The vasts amount of profit this generated, created ATM machines all over the world which makes more profits at our expense. If we are all unemployed then any investment in AI cannot help humanity. To say that AI will require humans to build them is delusional. They could mine the materials, build the factories, machines, infrastructure and even themselves. No billionaires will invest in this because nobody will have wages to spend. How does humanity feed, cloth, build and house or furnish it without money. Who protects us from riots and wars? Technology can go too far but some do help humanity but ask yourself this. Can you live without a computer, the internet, credit cards and mobile phones? But if you say you can then how many of these items have you had to replace? Most of these are made by machines and not people yet they always get dearer. All cars have a computer in it where nobody can fix unless you use a computer to fix it which costs you more money. I see the future where the poor countries of the world will survive without AI and becoming the richest by creating everything they need for each other by their own hands.
