The bananna, is a great example, or the buckets of sand falling over. Or the "take the money and run" blank canvas. Pretty sure there ws a trashbin exibit filled with real trash that janitorial services took out and ruined a 30,000 dollar piece.
Ai art is the future. Just like molds for glass and pottery, or stencils for signs, or microwave dinners. It lowers the bar for entry level and rases the bar for excellency. Ai art provides a product 80-90% as good as a real artist in seconds for pennies.
I can spend 10000 dollars for a detailed wall mural in my house and it will look amazing. Or i can spend 10 for the image generation and 300 for a wall printer and have somthing that looks amazing, AND has a cool "where is waldo" style visual hunt for AI artifacts. But if you are savvy those are fixable now.
Ive won 2 local art competitions with my ai generated art. I use a 3d printer to do dot patterns of faces. They have no idea. Masters in art degrees wasted because they clearly cant tell ai from real lol i have so much fun with it.
