I work with both Artists (mainly Fiverr) and generate images sometimes. My stance is that art is accessible to everyone, but not everybody wants to do it. I had the time all my life, but I never finished drawing a full body figure in my life. I never enjoyed it. So instead I tried making money to pay people who want enjoy drawing
So it's true that everybody could technicialy learn to draw, but there are many more people enjoy watching art, seeing their vision done rather than those - like you - and pulling through with your passion. So I think both are fine, in concept. I use AI for fun and for brainstorming, but when I need a tailored design, I provide the artist with reference pics, descriptions, requested artstyle and sometimes AI pics. For an idiot don't-wanna-draw-guy who just wants his image tailored to his needs, AI can be helpful getting there
