See i get where they're coming from tho, ive done lots of drawing but hit a wall and can't get to the level i want, fundamentally i understand how to do it, but in pactrice my brain struggles to wrap around some of the principles, with depth and angels and such. And its hard to practice when some else puts in half the time (here im going off of my experience in school) and put out peices so good you discourage yourself seeing. Going ive worked just as hard if not harder then them and im no where near that. Yes everyone has to work and struggle at it, but some people have a talent to figure it out easier and gets better to a near professional level much quicker then some who put everything into it and just can't reach that lvl. Im not saying you pop out of the womb with are levels of a renaissance artist but rather skills for the job that others simply lack giving an edge. There is talent when it comes to this and many people lack that inate talent and struggle just to see other surpass them with less effort (again not saying they don't draw endlessly for practice) and that's why some defend AI.
