"SILICON VALLEY OF THE EAST" ~ The shift from the "Electronic" era ie Computing/Computers, then the Digital ~ Internet era, meets the massive hyper-expansion of Bitcoin and now Data Centers. Anazon, Google, Meta, and yes, Microsoft are hugely pushing at the top of the global corporations pushing data centers in Virginia. Instead of addressing actual community level needs, States & their Counties-Cities-Towns are being hammered into massive overrun by the race for data center buildout.
