14:55 there’s only one problem with dealing with people versus machines. People feel entitled and act like assholes on the job. I work around a lot of different people and I see the arrogant way they conduct their themselves on the job. Most don’t even wanna do the job, because they’re prolonging trying to have a paycheck. But what I always see from this particular type of act is the company decides to go a different way because they know that the people are not doing their job the way they’re supposed to to get the job done in a timely fashion and it’s costing the company money. Even in my own craft, I was taught to not work as hard as I usually do because there won’t be any jobs in the future. Well, we’re dealing with that because they didn’t work the job like they were supposed to, or hire, a non-union or cheaper worker. They really think that these people don’t know What they’re doing. This is the reason why companies came up with machines that can do the job more efficient than the regular employee. The attitudes are unbelievable as if they’re the only person on the planet that can do that mediocre job and they cannot be replaced. Well, now they’re finding out that robots and AI can do their job better Than people. So is there going to be a shift where they will start hiring people over machines, I don’t believe so. I know if you do specific types of jobs that machines can’t do, then you’re in the clear to make some money and survive. My trade is safe just because they haven’t came up with a machine that can do it. So with that being said, I am, amongst others in my craft are a selective few that will survive as far as finances. But then again I still have to reiterate earlier the reason why I say I was told to prolong the job. I have a reputation of doing my job and not trying to starve out the company, which this is the way I was taught from my elders. But you still have people that don’t believe in these particular practices because they feel entitled, but later on find out that they can be replaced. There’s nothing more annoying in dealing with somebody that’s constantly whining and bitching about their lives on the job instead of working trying to vent their frustrations out on people that come on the job to do said job. These are the people that are not valuable and will be replaced, and have been replaced. All these senseless degrees that people have went ahead and pay for is finding out that they wasted their time and money and energy on something that wasn’t needed. When the collapse happens and it’s extremely bad where there’s a very few working. You’ll see those true crafts shine when everybody else took them for granted.
