How come AI art is theft but the millions of pieces and references that formed an artists thought process is not? If the execution of the creative process is all that is separating us from AI then are these artists being ripped off or are we truly running out of original ideas? I’m not gonna rally behind a bunch of people that are pretending to fight for something righteous when in reality they’re cheesed that they spent a week on something that looks inferior to something a computer could spit out in ten seconds…
