Ai cutting jobs, people won't have money to spend, with no money flowing around, noone will buy stuff and services the businesses make, the business will slowly collapse. So yeah not paying people for job weakens and kills the future of your business. Those business owners will be rich but money will have no value in times of chaos and anarchy.
Money has to flow. When the rich get richer the market fails. The AI takings jobs is the self-destruct button.
