40 years ago I wrote COBOL programs. Designed and built them to proper standards. Some were pretty complicated. They had to be properly documented so they could be repeatedly amended and tested over their lifetime. Some were pretty complicated. If you let AI generate solutions who maintains them ? What is to stop another occurrence of the Y2K problem. The parallels between old programming languages and AI are obvious and yet organisations will rush into AI. You will need programmers in the future just with different skills.
