We've been doing our regular due diligence to see if we need to update our tool stack internally, and the amount of startups built entirely on vibe coding is concerning. Granted, they will never SAY they are vibe coded, but you look at the output and it has the vibe coded generic look to it (if you've messed with vibe coding, you know what it tends to do). I don't care if a top tier programmer utilizes AI to help make them more efficient by catching issues, or making quick code they can check over for small sections, but these are NON devs launching software companies on their vibe code they have no idea how it works.
