When business leaders think about saving money on labour they always first think of blue collar workers. The reality is using AI to replace low cost unskilled labour makes no economic sense, unless the government is mandating very high minimum wages. The real payoff will be to replace high cost white collar workers, especially managers, HR, DEI and a host of white collar workers who spend their time doing activity which does not directly affect the bottom line. I personally believed skilled white or blue collar workers will be safe, and i mean useful skills which affect the bottom line, but then who knows, i may be wrong.
