That's a fair criticism to a lot of reaction streamers, but like him or not, it's not true for Asmongold: his reaction videos are usually significantly longer than the original ones, he often pauses for extended periods to talk about his own takes and he many times reacted to videos from tiny channels (and boosted them into the algorithm), still getting hundreds of thousands of views. People are watching his videos for him, that is why he could pivot from WoW content to variety streaming. I used to watch him, but his channel went way too political last year for my taste, I don't care about politics, I'm here to get entertained or learn some interesting facts.
