The problem is there are a lot of transformative works out there, think Pokemon and Palworld, where they draw inspiration from a source of work, but does that make it a copyright infringement? You cant draw inspiration from something if you havent dodged the original copyright format in some way, we absorb that information to transform it just like an AI would have to on copyrighted text to generate unique text around that principal
