Not really. It says a lot about how and why LLMs were constructed in the first place: as a way to create plausibly human written text. That's it!
Literally the first released examples of AI written text were things like a press release describing the recent discovery of unicorns in the Amazon. How anybody could look at that and think "yes, let's replace search results with that" is completely beyond me.
The fact that you seemingly need to construct a model of the world in order to make convincing sentences is kind of interesting, but not a basis for any sort of "technology revolution" by itself. That is what says more about the people who tried to sell this as that than the people doing actual research...
