The solution is to make classes significantly more difficult and expect AI use. We need to adapt. Instead of asking students to write 500 words ask for 20,000 words with research cited from real websites found directly by the student. Instead of asking a student to code a small program ask for an entire web app. Instead of asking a student to explain what the mitochondria does, ask them to create an entire presentation documenting how the mitochondria came to be with sources cited and make them present.
