I'm skeptical of people who talk passionately about AI but who also are low key dismissive of 'philosophers'. So much of their argument rests upon philosophical speculation. But it seems that each time they arrive at a key philosophical issue, they forgo 'the philosophical dance' in favour of continuing with their very one sided argument.
Maybe they would be less apocalyptic in their views if they spent more time boogieing.
