No jobs mean no consumers and no taxes. This is the problem in Africa and the reason why technology is not deployed. If the masses have no income there will be outright anarchy. I cannot see it happening. What should happen is that we leverage AI to improve how we work - not replace us. The professions I would love to see completely replaced are politicians and lawyers.
