Here’s the problem, all countries are racing to develop AI, especially China. The feeling is whoever develops it first runs the world so even if the United States stopped all development it would not matter. China would just develop it six months or one year later than we would and then AI is loose. It’s 1 billion times smarter than any human, which would give China the ability to rule the world for a short time until it’s AI developed a way to ensure we did not survive and it did.
