As much as I feel for him and his family,
Why do we as a society point out when cops make a mistake instead of when they Literally save lives?
Of course I can come up with arguments of my own such as:
-they have existed for years and should perfect the technique of protecting and serving
-they are trained more in gun use than anything else
-when having the responsibility of carrying out justice, they should have the right guy when they are saying “it’s you I have the paperwork”
But I think we all have to realize that crime evolves to evade getting caught. Police have to turn over every rock to solve a crime. Whether or not it’s petty or a felony. Therefore they have to evolve with the crime. Now I guess they are trying facial recognition. Which to me doesn’t seem like it would work 100% of the time. Not like it’s as in depth as an iPhone…..
And I dislike the argument “it’s their job” well it’s not someone’s job to commit crime. Criminals are dangerous so cops have to be wary. okay so I won’t see you complaining when you call the cops cuz someone is being stabbed.
