I'm a full time artists since 30 years back, I made a career with my art, made me a milionare. I have had my art stolen and reproduced and copied in millions since I was ranked number 1 on Google for many years for the word "Graffiti". I also love Ai art, to me its inspiration, I never use the result as is, either I heavily modify the art in photoshop or just take inspiration from it so I've been on both sides of the coin. I'm very good with ai art, I dont see the competition or the loss or work or an overall lowering of the view of art.
Artists will always create art, that's a passion. Ai will never remove artists. Ai will for sure make many untalented people make a living as an "artist" and most likely a few real artists will lose their current job as its being replaced by ai but overall I think it will be the same, there will not be More demand for art or Less demand for art.
