The self driving safety statistical comparisons are fatally flawed. Most accidents involve morons, drunk, drugged or tired. Comparing the statistics of those morons to someone else, even a dodgy AI system that is used on a road with no sensors, is always going to look good. Your garbage Tesla AI will never compare to a competent, awake human.
