It was interesting to watch the 3 of them acquire new knowledge. Neil => Understands the science, and his foundation made it so he understood the concept AI is grown and it scalable intelligence. But he struggled with human reaction and emotion, so he remained silent as he acquired that insight. Chuck => was quick to understand human reaction and emotion to AI, while also taking longer to understand the science; but open to learning and we can see him realize the true human cost fast. Gary => Reacts like what most people would react. He understood human fallibility and corporate greed at a standard human rate. He reacted with normal human examples; but just like normal people; he continually never digested that we do NOT program AI. He also continually had difficulty extrapolating to the end. I am an Engineer and watching Chuck use his quick wit and get the one liners and nail the social and human aspect so quickly reminds me that all minds are amazing and his mind is wired so differently giving him comedic super powers and quick fire backs. Neil is more like me, processing things deeply and updating his narrative of science with its full consequence. Gary is the normal person struggling with the paradigm change on both the science and the human consequences.
