The photography comparison is not helping the AI side because that has it's own issues and problems with plagiarism. You can't walk into an art gallery, snap a photo of the artwork, and then try to sell it. Likewise, you can't take pictures of people without their consent. There are even laws about where you can fly drones due to privacy concerns.
