the labour market thing won't be the problem. remember we live in a democracy, once AI replaces say 20% of all jobs causing unemployment to grow another 20% into the 25-30% range, and it becomes clear that it will replace significantly more soon, it only takes a few politicians to pitch a UBI type solution and the problem gets addressed. the real problem is going to be what men do when they have a living income but no purpose. idle hands are the devil's playground.
