Okay so I myself love art (im shit at it) but im a heavy AI user, once you manage to have it in your workflow in a helpful way it becomes a bit like crack, anyways, seeing how all the money grubbing soulless suit people up above start sweating like a pedo in a nursery at the mention of automating anything (= layoffs = number go up!) it inherently makes the actual development of AI focus less on supplementing our own productivity, for artists this can include but not limited too: - organizing your portfolio in a way you can dump unfinished prototypes and come back to them later - pointing out *technical* inconsistencies in your art - for digital artists, noticing how something you have been doing manually for a decade actually has a shortcut, or maybe doesnt and it will help you write a script for it which would be possible with AI today, but instead the focus is on replacing personnel and making everyone wanna jump of a bridge. Anyways as someone who spends a lot of time looking at the type of AI infrastructure massive companies pay for, its genuinely sad- maybe one day ill make some open source tools that actually help. But even then, im sure some money grubbing slop ai grifter will pay for someone to make an ai artist that can utilize these tools made for actual artists or smth….
