"You arent being forced" You aren't but you kinda are being shamed.. if people use AI they get shamed, they get criticized, told to be merked for wanting to use AI, that people owe them a commission and should instead pay an artist because they need to eat. It's like you said, its not a need so people should learn to work a job and keep it as a side gig unlike those who can make it into an actual job. Custom can cost more, but there are people who think that it should be more than that.. Also, a lot of stupid people are willing to pay for things that.. are extremely high end as the saying says a sucker is born every day. Also most people don't care about the soul or effort or all the emotional things people claim when they go against ai. Look at what is popular in art 18+ and trends.. My drawings can take me 10 hours doesnt mean i need to charge 10k for art lol Also to go back to the "we care about effort" crowd and yet if that where the case why do small artist still exist? and etc.. its just mostly moral postering and fear mongering.. when someone is scared to fade away is what it sounds like then legit issues or love for art. Seems more like I worked hard, and this guy didnt so why should they be able to use a technology to do it for them.
