I don't condone AI stealing art, but I have found myself using it just to get my ideas out and to see how I want it to generally look, like poses or vibes before I grab reference. Like "green-haired woman near a river with a white sundress" or like "floating island with a city in front of a pink sunset" and then when I find one that looks somewhat like what I had imagined, I get references and draw. One of my main problems with just getting reference and drawing is that I can't get what's in my head onto the paper and sometimes AI helps me solidify my idea before I draw. Granted, I haven't done this for a while, so it is definitely possible to draw without AI, but sometimes it helps if im struggling to transfer from brain to paper :)
