I think the comparison of ai to cameras is the incorrect one, in my opinion its closer to the printing press where the creator didn't have to replicate or recreate or hire someone to copy by hand their work, a machine copied the work and what we did there was have companies by the distribution rights for books, art, and novels that then morphed into other forms of media as they became available and builds a framework for what can be used in ai, which is "ai" companies buying Machine Training Rights to train their ai with.
