AI 'art' is similar to and is basically copy and paste 'art', like when folks in the late 90's used clip art in their documents, or when a digital image is made up of unaltered vectors that someone else created, and at best a collage of cut out images and photos, or an image made up of ink stamps or stencils. When you think of AI 'art' in those terms you see that it's not original art. In the early days of the internet, there were (and still are in some corners of the web), pixel artists who made pixel dolls and it was bad form to trace or cut and paste portions of those dolls to make new dolls so why is AI 'art' any better than that?
