Proponents tout AI as being able to solve Humanity's problems. As if these problems are not caused by Humanity ourselves. The underlying motivation is faster & cheaper & more profitable. Overlaying a narrative of infallible doctors or better bridges is a sales pitch & an attempt to gain moral high ground.
