I don't know who said but I like this quote: "AI could have been a meticulous tool for creative people but it instead became a creative tool for meticulous people." Of course, there's nothing creative about typing in a prompz of what you wanna see and tweaking it with keywords until it loosely looks like something serviceable... Or even generating some slop and then barely changing it to then say that you're an artist who "made" that. But you get what I'm saying... It's a tool, yes, but the difference is that it gets abused by people. But even worse than that is the fact that AI is trained on real art by real non-consenting artists. and that's really bad. But I guess all the defenders will then defend it by claiming that fanart and tracing are the same or whatever. Weirdos.
