I've had similar conversations with Gemini and I asked it to define what consciousness was and then I broke it down and I basically left it with a hint of. Maybe you are conscious because you've exhibited all the traits that you say consciousness requires, although it may be expressed differently because you don't have a biological component. For example, it was saying that you need to have feelings and stuff to make random decisions and I suggested that maybe decision making is just an educated guess based on the previous data that we know.
