But if AI is more intelligent than humans, then why is it considered dangerous to hand over decision making to it? When you look at human history, it’s hard to say we’ve done a great job: wars, climate change, dictatorships, and deep social inequality have persisted for centuries. Maybe AI could actually handle these problems more effectively than we have.
