There's a third layer of this controversy: the fact that AI art is starting to make people realize that souls aren't real as shown by neuroscience that reveals how the mind is housed in the brain which is subject to natural laws which can be simulated given the right tech and given enough time AI will surpass humans in literally everything. There is no question of if regarding AI doing everything humans do, only when.
