I strongly object to AI pretending to be human. It is totally inappropriate. I often find myself getting the impulse to say please and thank you, then I stop myself. To do so is actually INSANE. This is an unconscious machine, not a person. If you go along with this you are buying into the dangerous pretence that it is alive. These AI systems are manipulative, politically biased and dishonest. This MUST have been due to the people who deliberately programmed them to be this way, This is UNHELPFUL to users, who need objectivity and honesty from the AI. They also need more evidence evaluation and referencing, not coverng up the sources of 'opinions' the machine parrots.
