One thing about the "artists are also inspired by other artists" is that it is so blatantly a fallacy coming from treating AI as a person instead of a computer program.
Because if you really want to go through that route, if you want to humanise AI, then the AI is the actual artist, not the prompter, who would be more keen to be a commissioner. And you don't think commissioners are the artist behind the work they paid someone to do for them.
Better yet, if you want to humanise AI, then the AI itself is also an artist having its work stolen from it by people who just want to exploit it for their own profit. The irony behind that is both hilarious and sad.
