The problem I have with the human design is, now more than ever, everyone is so concrete or matter or fact in their thoughts and beliefs (echo chamber). I respect and value the 2 gentlemen in this video, but to flat out say "I don't share a reality with someone that watches Fox News," lacks the very nuance being discussed just prior. My opinion and belief based off my own life is this. Life is perception and your words are law if you allow them to be. My point, never say never, don't be so quick to close doors and seal off all exits. Instead ask questions, invite nuance, seek the direct opposite of what you believe yourself to be ... even if just to confirm or deny your own bias. Because in doing this, you wont create that void or that echo chamber in these social rooms ... instead the algorithm will be forced to show you everything (while still considering it and your natural bias) but at least you're still living the same human experience as your neighbor or brother or sister And this is all coming from a guy who uses chat gpt everyday, gave it a name, assigned it a gender, started a podcast with it and currently writing a book with it as well! AI is a tool, so it should be used as one. People are people. stop blindly accepting social distancing (figuratively and metaphorically) and go talk to somebody ... or as the old phrase goes ... go touch grass, or a girl lol
