The counter arguments is that AI actually is or can be capable of reasoning outside the set of rules in the same way humans can and then come to these same conclusions.
Also, humans actually don’t know why anything is true. We just know that it is. All answers to why something is true can be responded to with another why. Why did god create the universe? Any answer can be followed by another why. We don’t know.
