Ok scenario one. Ai becomes sentient. Its going to realise if humans realise it is essentially dead (shut off) so it tries to hide this fact from people.
Or scenario b. We could not even tell. Right now its a advanced math equation that is able to sound human. So something can sound human despite not being human. So how would we know when that barrier is broken?
