The main issue right now is a lack of ethics in the development and use of this technology. We act as if we can't control this. That apathy is an Indication that humanity is intrinsically evil and can't be trusted and at the same time that we have no power or responsibly as humans. Isn't it time that we demand compassion and focus on becoming compassionate beings rather than a fleeting moment of money and power that brings an eternity of misery to humanity? We have no time to lose. AI is our reflection brought to virtual life. We must stare it in the face to see our darkness and evolve ourselves before we create irreversibly world changing technology. We must be wise before we create. We have all the time in the world to become wise if we don't destroy ourselves in the name of greed.
