Autonomous weapons have been around since WW2, they are called missiles. Movies may make you think they are magically attracted to their target but, IRL, they use computers with embedded AI, it's nothing new. They're basically autonomous robots flying at mach 5 and loaded with explosives, but people are more scared of a 3PO who can backflip?!Relax, the revolution has started decades ago and it's far from the apocalypse you preach :-/
